Here’s another original home cooking meal idea, Mini Deviled-Spamwich Brunch:

Equipment and All Ingredients Needed

1 Knife 1 Cutting board 1 Blender/processor

1 Container with lid 1 Medium pot 1 Frying pan 2 Stovetop burners

4 Whole wheat dinner rolls

1/4 Can Spam (pork luncheon meat)

¼ Medium white onion

1 ½ Cups milk

1 ½ Cups cream

1 ½ Cups frozen broccoli

2 Tablespoons butter

2 Tablespoons olive oil

1 Tablespoon each of four different cheeses of choice

1 Tablespoon flour

1 Tablespoon fresh parsley

1 Tablespoon mayonnaise

2 Teaspoons white pepper

1 Teaspoon capers

1 Teaspoon nutmeg

1 Teaspoon Dijon-style mustard

1 Teaspoon chicken broth granules

Here’s another of hubby’s simple and tasty home cooked meals, Papa’s Beef & Veggie Stir-fry:

Papa's Beef  & Veggie Sitr-fry

For this meal, hubby added water spinach (ensai) and ground beef to some leftover chicken-veggie mixture; stir-fried in olive oil with a bit of chicken bouillon granules; and placed the dish on fresh, steaming white rice.

Here’s another original come cooking idea mixing East and West influences, Tuna-Greens Wrap Dinner:

For this meal, I fried seachicken (canned tuna), frozen karashina (mustard greens), pork luncheon meat (spam) slices, julienned white onion, minced garlic paste, minced ginger paste, white pepper, and leftover ramen spice package in the canned tuna oil and wrapped the mixture in toasted flour tortilla shells; added molded leftover precooked rice with turmeric and cracked black sesame seeds; and finished the meal with instant miso soup.

This “hungry man’s” meal from a new eatery in the area that offers Tex-Mex influenced dishes included red rice, refried beans, tortilla-wrapped shredded chicken and a large bean-stuffed tortilla (both smothered with melted cheese), and a shredded-beef soft shell taco.

Here’s a simple meal for those hot summer days, Ensalada Italiano:

For this meal, I sautéed frozen bell pepper strips, canned button mushrooms, and julienned white onion with diced bacon, white pepper, and minced garlic paste, mixing in cherry tomato slices towards the end; tossed the cooled mixture with iceberg luttuce, dried oregano flakes, powdered thyme, chopped chives, parmesan cheese, olive oil, and leftover combination-pizza croutons; and added instant miso soup as an accompaniment.

For the meal, hubby sautéed frozen bell pepper strips and frozen mustard greens in sesame oil, then added chopped cherry tomatoes; sautéed cod in butter and smothered it with a white wine, white pepper, chopped fresh parsley, chopped fresh chives, and sour cream sauce; and completed the meal with rice.

Here’s another original homemade meal that’s full of flavor, Pepper-Shrimp Wrap Dinner:

For this meal, flour tortillas were toasted and sliced in half; stuffed with a frozen shrimp, frozen julienned bell pepper, and sliced white onion mixture that had been sautéed in sesame oil with minced garlic paste, powdered coriander, white pepper, and black sesame seeds added; cherry tomato slices were placed on a bed of julienned iceberg lettuce in a flower pattern; topped with Spanish olive slices, snipped fresh basil, dried oregano flakes, grated parmesan cheese, and a fresh basil sprig; and drizzled with olive oil; and leftover rice was combined with the remaining leftover crockpot curry; reheated in a microwave; molded; and garnished with spiced, dried seaweed slices and Spanish olive pimento pinches.
