I finally had a chance to download the new Google Earth with Sky and came up with this collection of tidbits to munch on while we took a gander at the universe, Virtual Tour Snack Platter:

The platter consisted of honeydew slices with almond cheese chunks wrapped in ham; cucumber slices; spicy cheese kamaboko (fish sausage); baby cheese chunks; Spanish olives; leftover KFC chicken; toasted white bread triangles with a tuna spread of drained canned-tuna, dill pickle juice, minced garlic paste, minced ginger paste, diced white onion, crushed capers, soy sauce, dried parsley flakes, and mayonnaise; Hershey’s dark chocolate kisses; and red wine.
Here’s a simple energizing refresher to help cool the hot summertime palate, Mixed-Fruit & Peanut Pureé:

This liquid snack consisted of peach, bananas, kiwi, green grapes, roasted skinless peanuts, nutmeg, cinnamon, and star of anise seed garnished with a fresh mint sprig.
Here are more local take-out foods available for easy eating at any hour. Included are a jumbo deep-fried chicken cutlet (this one was a little bit longer than a set of chopsticks) on a bed of shredded cabbage and a side of mustard greens.

This delish Japanese snack gift from a visitor is a wonderfully sculptured mini red bean pastry, more commonly known as anko.

These wonderfully sweet munchies (actually American cherries) came from a local supermarket in an adorable faux crystal to-go bowl.

It comes as no surprise that someone came up with a more flavorful version of the traditional senbei rice cracker. Various versions of red chilli pepper sauces can be found throughout the island and probably in mainland Japan as well.
