Equipment and All Ingredients Needed

1 Frying pan 1 Stovetop burner 1 Knife 1 Cutting board

4 Medium spicy sausages

4 Cherry tomatoes

½ Medium cucumber

2 Cups pre-cooked rice

½ Cup applesauce

1 Tablespoon garlic chives

1 Tablespoon white pepper

1 Tablespoon walnuts

1 Tablespoon whole grain mustard

2 Teaspoons bleu cheese

Iceberg lettuce leaves

Fresh basil sprigs

Creamy cheese dressing

Dried oregano flakes

I’m not much of a morning muncher. Usually I eat something light like toast with cheese and coffee or the occassional bowl of ochazuke. Hubby, on the other hand, enjoys a hearty morning meal. This is something he put together, Papa’s Negi-Nato Omelette Breakfast:

For the meal, he created an omelette filled with scallions and fermented soy beans cooked in sesame oil and sprinkled with soy sauce; and added miso soup, dried sardines, rice topped with cracked black sesame seeds, and nori.

For the dish, hubby created a mixture of shrimp, diced white onion, chopped Chinese cabbage, sliced shitake mushrooms, scallions, dried garlic slivers, white pepper, chicken broth granules, and toubanjyan sauce served with rice topped with cracked black sesame seeds.

This is a simple and tasty meal home cooked by hubby, Papa’s Mediterranean Veggie with Pork Dinner:

For the meal hubby, sautéed thinly sliced pork in olive oil and butter, added garlic chips, chopped fresh mushrooms, frozen Mediterrean vegetable mix, diced red onion, diced cucumber, white pepper, and soy sauce; and served the mixture on a bed of freshly cooked rice. To accompany the entrée, hubby selected a salad of iceberg lettuce, arugula, sliced cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumbers topped with bacon bits and creamy cheese dressing.

1 /4 Cup diced white onion

1 Tablespoon olive oil

1 Tablespoon minced garlic paste

1 Teaspoon 1/2 sodium red miso

1 Whole wheat dinner roll

Soft cream cheese

Caviar of choice

2 Cups pre-cooked rice

1/2 Cup chopped button mushrooms

1 /4 Cup chopped chives

1 Tablespoon chopped fresh basil

1 Tablespoon white pepper

1/2 Cup grated parmesan cheese

2 Tablespoons butter

Fresh basil sprigs

This is a switch on the typical pepper-steak that hubby created, Papa’s Sake-Miso Beef:

The meal consisted of beef sautéed in oilve oil with minced garlic paste, minced ginger paste, white pepper, sake, 1/2 sodium red miso, cabbage, arugula, and basil added. He spooned the remaining sauce and leftover precooked rice and garnished with cracked black sesame seeds.

Another original dish by hubby making use of homegrown arugula and rosemary, Papa’s Sautéed Pork & Mushroom Dinner:

For this meal, hubby sautéed pork, onion, and minced ginger in olive oil; placed the mixture on a bed of cabbage sautéed in olive oil and butter; topped the pork with arugula and sliced cherry tomatoes; smothered the entrée with the leftover pork fat, onion, and ginger mixed with white pepper, soy sauce, and white wine; and garnished with chopped fresh rosemary. As side dishes, sliced erigi mushroom and minced garlic sautéed in sesame oil; and reheated leftover precooked rice.

This meal consisted of chicken in a mint, ginger, basil, walnut, soy sauce, white pepper, clove, and olive oil marinade on a bed of mushroom, leek, and garlic rice – garnished with a fresh basil sprig; accompanied with a small iceberg lettuce, cherry tomato, and black olive salad – drizzled with creamy cheese dressing and dried oregano flakes; and garnished with chopped fresh basil.
