Japanese “Fast Food” – Bento#53
This delish version of local take-out meals had tonkatsu with ketchup, rice, umeboshi, daikon, ebi-fry, meatballs, yakisoba, sunny-side up egg, and karashina-fu mix.

This “oba-style” bento is very similar to bento#14 with rice, umeboshi, yakisoba, a karashina-tuna-fu mix, omelette, pork luncheon meat (spam), and deep-fried pork cutlet with sauce.

This is another of the “oba-style” bentos available on island that is similar to bento #46. This one has mackerel, kamaboko, rice, umeboshi, goya chanpuru, gobo, sausage, potato-veggie mixture, and konyaku .

This smaller version of a bento meal consisted of omurice, potato croquette, hamburger patty, hotdog, minced pork cutlet, green beans, and corn niblets.

Another of the lighter versions of bento from a local convenience store with rice, daikon, karashina, gobo/carrot mix, mackerel, potatoes, and scrambled egg.

For those times when a smaller meal will do the trick, something like this version of a local convenience store bento might be the answer. Included in the meal was rice, katsubushi, seaweed paste, nori, yakitori, pork luncheon meat (spam), and omelet sprinkled with parsley flakes.

This version of local bentos is similar to the first bento featured. This one had salmon, deep-fried shrimp, deep-fried chicken, hamburger, spaghetti , broccoli, veggie mix, teriyaki pork, rice with seaweed paste, nori, and cheese croquette.

This is another choice in the “oba-style” bentos with mackerel, kamaboko, pumpkin, daikon-carrot mix, fried chicken, soy bean-hijiki mix, umeboshi, and rice.

This is another of the “oba-style” bentos and is similar to #32. This one had fried chicken, a stir-fried karashina-tuna-fu mix, pork luncheon meat (spam), hot dog, chunky potato veggie mix, umeboshi, deep-fried hard-boiled egg, and rice.

This is another version from the same convenience store as #37, except this one had chicken, piman (bell pepper), sanma (river fish), konyaku, goya chanpuru, rice, umeboshi, and tofu.
