Although I’ve been trying to include videos with meals, this dish was just too quick and simple to have time to take footage, Grilled Beef on a Stick Dinner:

The meal consisted of grilled thinly-sliced skewered beef with a whole grain mustard, soy sauce, cayenne pepper, and minced garlic paste dipping sauce; red chili beans and sauce mixed with leftover precooked rice and chopped scallions; melted cheddar cheese and fresh homegrown basil leaves tortilla wraps; and a simple salad of iceberg lettuce, chopped cherry tomatoes and scallions, and bacon bits drizzled with a creamy sesame seed dressing.

This quick and tasty mash consisted completely of leftovers (except the garnish), SOS Mash:

The last of the leftovers from the Hearty Chicken & Pasta Dinner and the SOS Wrap Dinner were combined; placed on a bed of leftover pre-cooked rice; and garnished with a fresh basil sprig and grated parmesan cheese.

With both of us cooking most of our meals, leftovers start stacking up in the freezer. This dish is a combination of some of those reminants of other meals, Pasta Mash:

I’m not much of a morning muncher. Usually I eat something light like toast with cheese and coffee or the occassional bowl of ochazuke. Hubby, on the other hand, enjoys a hearty morning meal. This is something he put together, Papa’s Negi-Nato Omelette Breakfast:

For the meal, he created an omelette filled with scallions and fermented soy beans cooked in sesame oil and sprinkled with soy sauce; and added miso soup, dried sardines, rice topped with cracked black sesame seeds, and nori.
