This is a tasty twist on a local main dish favorite, Pepper Steak Wrap:

Simply sauté thinly sliced beef in olive oil; add julienned red onion and bell pepper, minced garlic paste, white pepper, and soy sauce; place in the center of heated tortillas and roll.

These are tako crisps (octopus chips) called Tako Senbei (octopus crackers) that hubby brought back from his annual gig in Osaka.

Here’s my version of one of hubby’s favorite no-fuss quickie snacks, Mama’ s Mini-Sandwich:

This version of mini-sandwich had horseradish and whole-grain mustard on a whole wheat dinner roll, topped with iceberg lettuce, fresh basil, sliced cherry tomato, ham, and onion cheese (tastes just like onion chip dip).

This mini-sandwich version consisted of iceberg lettuce, cured bacon, sliced cherry tomato, red onion, cheddar cheese, and fresh basil on a whole wheat dinner roll slathered with mayonnaise and whole grain mustard.

Another tasty and simple creation by hubby, Papa’s Snack Sandwich#2:

This creation consisted of iceburg lettuce, red onion slice, ham, and cheddar cheese on a whole wheat dinner roll slathered with a thin layer of whole grain mustard and mayonnaise, then topped with a Spanish olive.

A simple throw together with an Asian twist for a busy day, Seafood Stew Snack:

For the snack, 1 1/2 cups cooked rice, topped with 1 cup leftover Crockpot Seafood Minestrone Stew, zasai (pickled turnip), chopped nori (seaweed), and cracked black sesame seeds.

For the snack, hubby sliced one whole grain dinner roll in half; then added mayonnaise, iceburg lettuce, ham, cheddar cheese, sliced cherry tomatoes, and whole grain mustard.

Here’s another quick and tasty use of leftovers, Curried-Tuna Roll:

Simply half a whole grain roll; spoon on some Curried-Tuna Rice; top with crumbled baby cheese, fresh whole basil leaves, and halfed cherry tomatoes; then microwave for 1.5 minutes.
