For the V-Day finale, I cooked this simple and tasty meal for hubby, Tomato-Shrimp Pasta Dinner:

The meal consisted of minced garlic paste, minced ginger paste, and frozen shrimp sautéed in olive oil; with tomato paste, canned diced tomatoes with sauce, toubyanjan sauce, canned mushroom slices, sliced black olives, chopped frozen green beans, white wine, dried oregano flakes, dark brown sugar, and cooked pasta added; and topped with a fresh basil sprig and grated Parmesan cheese. Accompanying the dish, toasted tortilla with melted almond baby cheese and chopped fresh basil, and a glass of California white wine.

Happy Valentines Day! This is a little something I cooked for the occasion, Valentine – ChocoPanCake:

For the dish, I mixed cocoa powder, apple sauce, cinnamon, and vanilla extract into the pancake batter; cooked the cake in butter in a frying pan on medium heat; plated the cake and topped with maple syrup, butter, grated dark chocolate, and fresh mint leaves.

This version of rice cracker differs from most. Instead of a roasted soy flavor, it is more reminiscent of a light and crunchy soda bread.

This local food court version of a TexMex favorite had spiced ground beef, shredded cabbage and carrot, white cheddar cheese, and a tomato slice in a homemade tortilla with a sweet and spicy salsa accompaniment.

This is one of the snacks available at a local supermarket with nuts, dried sardines, mini-senbei, etc. It reminds me of a local version of “ChexMix” with a wide variety of flavors and textures.

This simple crockpot meal consisted of pork roast, red miso paste, potato, carrot, red and green bell peppers, white onion, chicken broth, fresh rosemary, minced garlic paste, minced ginger paste, white pepper, cherry tomato, fresh basil, and cracked black sesame seeds.

This simple and delish meal consisted of ground beef, carrot, red and green bell pepper, white onion, Shitake mushrooms, leftover precooked rice, white pepper, cumin, powdered curry, sesame oil, minced garlic paste, minced ginger paste, and chives accompanied by canned cream of mushroom soup with herbed croutons.
