Here’s a simple meal for those hot summer days, Ensalada Italiano:

For this meal, I sautéed frozen bell pepper strips, canned button mushrooms, and julienned white onion with diced bacon, white pepper, and minced garlic paste, mixing in cherry tomato slices towards the end; tossed the cooled mixture with iceberg luttuce, dried oregano flakes, powdered thyme, chopped chives, parmesan cheese, olive oil, and leftover combination-pizza croutons; and added instant miso soup as an accompaniment.

Here’s another original homemade meal that’s full of flavor, Pepper-Shrimp Wrap Dinner:

For this meal, flour tortillas were toasted and sliced in half; stuffed with a frozen shrimp, frozen julienned bell pepper, and sliced white onion mixture that had been sautéed in sesame oil with minced garlic paste, powdered coriander, white pepper, and black sesame seeds added; cherry tomato slices were placed on a bed of julienned iceberg lettuce in a flower pattern; topped with Spanish olive slices, snipped fresh basil, dried oregano flakes, grated parmesan cheese, and a fresh basil sprig; and drizzled with olive oil; and leftover rice was combined with the remaining leftover crockpot curry; reheated in a microwave; molded; and garnished with spiced, dried seaweed slices and Spanish olive pimento pinches.

We recently had a birthday celebration for our youngest dog, Jaco, and I came-up with this Asian-influenced twist on one of our family’s favorite cooking methods, Grilled Miso-Sake Steak Dinner:

This meal consisted of grilled steak in a red miso, sake, powdered red chili pepper, powdered cumin, powdered marjoram,and olive oil marinade; chicken in an apple cider vinegar, sesame oil, minced ginger paste, powdered thyme, and white pepper marinade; foil-wrapped canned button mushrooms slices and frozen bean mix with butter, olive oil, chopped fresh parsley, and butter; sliced carrot, bell pepper, white onion, and garlic skewers; and a mixed mini-pasta salad with mayonnaise, wasabi, soy sauce, crushed senbei, and dry ochazuke.

This meal included steak marinated in whole grain mustard, soy sauce, white pepper, and olive oil; sliced onion-garlic skewers; chicken marinated in ketchup, oyster sauce, sesame oil, minced ginger paste, sage, and coriander; foil-wrapped frozen asparagus with butter. lemon juice, powdered lemon peel, diced bacon, and cracked black sesame seeds; and a chilled mini-penne, minced hard-boiled egg and white onion, mayonnaise, balsamic vinegar, and dill weed salad.

The meal consisted of minced carrot, bell pepper, and white onion with ground beef, two powdered curries, clove, cinnamon, minced ginger paste, minced garlic paste, and beef bouillon cooked in a crockette; ladled over a spicy pork sausage on a slice of bread;and garnished with a sliced, spiced, seaweed sheet; accompanied by deep-fried potato croquettes of ground whole potatoes with skins, crockpot curry, and dried bread crumbs then coated in panko; and a cold salad of shredded iceberg lettuce with bean mix sautéed in olive oil, butter, minced garlic paste, soy sauce, dried parsley flakes,and white pepper; chilled, then drizzled with olive oil; and garnished with parmesan cheese.

So you spent the day repainting the ouside of the house and don’t really feel like fast food, yet you really aren’t in the mood for a heavy or complicated solution, Paint Day Kwiqi Meal:

For the meal, I made a simple salad of iceberg lettuce, diced cucumber, quartered cherry tomatoes, and chopped scallions topped with bacon bits, creamy cheese dressing, grated parmesan cheese, and dried oregano flakes; accompanied by fresh mushrooms, sliced spicy sausage, and frozen mustard greens sautéed in sesame oil and minced garlic paste with white pepper and soy sauce and topped with cracked black sesame seeds; also, deep-fried store-bought frozen spiced chicken and home fries served with a mayonnaise and dried parsley flakes dipping sauce; and the remaining leftover frozen springrolls made by hubby served with a simple ketchup and soy sauce dipping sauce.

Here’s another simple, yet quick and tasty, put-together meal, Foil-Wrapped BBQ Fish Dinner:

For this barbecue, hubby wrapped red fish fillets with minced ginger paste, minced garlic paste, olive oil, butter, fresh parsley, white pepper, and leek greens in a foil packet; in a separate foil packet, I added sliced bell pepper, fresh mushrooms, chopped leek whites, white pepper, powdered tarragon, sesame oil, and cracked black sesame seeds; and a third foil packet had spicy pork sausage with soy sauce and whole grain mustard. To complete the meal were a small salad of iceberg lettuce, arugula, sliced cherry tomatoes, chopped scallions, herb-croutons, and bacon bits; as well as, a rice cup of leftover precooked rice, turmeric, butter, milk, chopped shrimp sautéed in olive oil and minced garlic paste, chopped cherry tomato, chopped fresh parsley, and spiced seaweed sheets.

The meal consisted of chicken mini-drumsticks marinated in sesame oil, whole grain mustard, honey, dried thyme flakes, white pepper; and minced garlic paste; pork sausage, foil-wrapped sweet corn-on-the-cob with butter, soy sauce, and dried parsley flakes; leek; a salad of iceberg lettuce, arugula, cherry tomatoes, cucumber; and dried oregano flakes drizzled with a creamy cheese salad dressing; and a Chinese-style fried rice (from a local supermarket) with nori cup.

The meal consisted of steak sautéed in olive oil and smothered in a red wine, garlic, white pepper, and ginger sauce; baked potato with a dollop of sour cream; frozen mixed veggies and frozen karashina sautéed in butter; and a side salad of arugula, iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and kaiware radish with creamy cheese dressing drizzled on top.
