Here’s a simple and tasty meal for those semi-busy days, Tarragon-Pork Dinner:

The meal consisted of pork roast marinaded in sesame oil, minced garlic, white pepper, balsamic vinegar, and dried tarragon flakes; then sautéed in the marinade with cracked black sesame seeds and white onion slices added; sliced then placed on a bed leftover rice with turmeric, butter, dried parsley flakes, and sour cream added; surrounded by canned button mushroom slices and chopped frozen asparagus sautéed in olive oil with white pepper and soy sauce added.

Here’s another simple and tasty original slow-cooked dish, Crockpot Honey-Raisin Pork Dinner:

Equipment and All Ingredients Needed

1 Crockette 1 Strainer 1 Knife 1 Cutting board
1 Microwavable container with lid 1 Microwave 1 Frying pan 1 Stovetop burner

1 Pound pork roast

4 Medium new potatoes

4 Cherry tomatoes

4 Whole cloves

1 Large slice white onion

1 Large fresh basil leaf

¼ Cucumber

½ Cup white wine

¼ Cup raisins

¼ Cup sesame oil

2 Tablespoons honey

2 Tablespoons white pepper

1 Tablespoon whole grain mustard

1 Tablespoon olive oil

1 Tablespoon cornstarch

1 Teaspoon minced garlic paste

1 Teaspoon dried thyme flakes

¼ Teaspoon powdered sage

Iceberg lettuce

Salad dressing of choice

Dried oregano flakes

Fresh parsley sprigs

For this meal, hubby used pork cutlet, grated fresh ginger, mirin, low-sodium soy sauce, vegetable oil, sake, white pepper, minced garlic paste, iceberg lettuce, kaiware radish, leek, rice and black cracked sesame seeds.

Many of us enjoy the combination of wine and cheese on occasion. This dish combines the two in the form of leftovers, Wine & Cheese Rice:

This meal consisted of leftover Crockpot Chunky Cheesy Stew and leftover Crockpot Coq Au Vin combined, placed in the center of a leftover precooked rice ring (with a small amount of sauce drizzled on top of the ring), and garnished with a fresh parsley sprig and cracked black sesame seeds.

Hubby’s back in his experimentation mood with these crispy edibles, Papa’s Double Roll & Rice:

For one version of spring rolls, hubby used beef, pork, Shitake mushrooms, bean sprouts, carrot, white pepper, minced ginger paste, and minced garlic paste; for the other, cheddar cheese and spicy pork sausage. The dipping sauce was a mixture of ketchup, Tobasco sauce, and Mirin. The basic meatless-fried rice consisted of leftover precooked rice with sliced white onion, soy sauce, white pepper, and minced garlic paste quick-fried in sesame oil.

1 Tablespoon minced garlic paste

2 Teaspoons chicken broth granules

1 Teaspoon dried coriander

10 Slices cheddar cheese

1 ½ Cups milk

2 Tablespoons butter

2 Teaspoons corn starch

Fresh parsley sprigs

Hubby’s version of a traditionally beef dish, Papa’s Pork Fillet Dinner:

For the meal hubby sautéed bacon-wrapped tenderized pork fillet in olive oil; blanched fresh sliced carrot and frozen asparagus; then finished cooking the items in a microwave oven; plated and smothered the dishes with a sour cream, milk, and white pepper sauce. To complete the meal, he added freshly-cooked rice and garnished with chopped fresh parsley and paprika.

This meal by hubby consisted of olive oil, sliced white onion, spicy pork sausage, frozen grilled Mediterranean vegetable mix, canned diced tomatoes with sauce, white pepper, and parmesan cheese; home grown arugula and cherry tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, scallions, julienned cucumber, dried oregano flakes, and creamy cheese dressing; and a whole wheat dinner roll.

The meal consisted of deep-fried wrapped ground spicy pork sausage and mushrooms with moyashi; cubed beef, sliced green pepper,white onions,toubyanjan sauce, olive oil, oyster sauce, white pepper, corn starch, minced garlic paste, and sliced mushrooms; rice topped with cracked black sesame seeds; and a ketchup, Worcester sauce, and toubyanjan sauce dip.
