This is another of hubby’s delish home cooked meals similar to the dinner he prepared in December, Papa’s Spicy Spaghetti Dinner:

This time hubby used olive oil, julienned spicy pork sausage, fresh Eringi and Shitake mushrooms, red and green bell peppers, and white onion with fresh chopped basil, spaghetti, and grated parmesan cheese. To acompany the dish, a salad of iceberg lettuce, white onion, arugula, salad greens, and chopped cherry tomatoes with a creamy sesame dressing.

1 Tablespoon butter

1 Tablespoon white pepper

1 Teaspoon dried oregano flakes

1 Teaspoon minced ginger paste

This is a super-quick lunch put together from leftovers, Ginger Pork – Chicken Pasta Lunch:

Simply slice whole wheat dinner rolls; fill with one leftover Ginger-Pork medallion per roll topped with fresh basil leaves and crumbled baby cheese; heat in microwave for 1.5 minutes; remove from microwave and heat leftover Chicken Pot Pie filling. Meanwhile, add iceberg lettuce and cherry tomato slices to pork mini-sandwiches; plate sandwiches and chicken pasta; top pasta with cracked black sesame seeds.

Here’s another simple home cooked meal that comes together in less than 30 minutes, Ginger-Pork & 5 Cheese-Pasta Dinner:

The specific ingredients are open to interpretation to meet you own tastes. For the meal I used, pork roast, olive oil, minced ginger, powdered marjoram, dried tarragon flakes, and white pepper, simmered in a red wine sauce. For the pasta, I used 3 types of baby cheese, Kraft American cheese, and parmesan cheese with butter, milk, powdered nutmeg, and dried parsley flakes. Completing the meal was frozen grilled Mediterranean vegetables sautéed in sesame oil and garlic with almond slivers.

Equipment and All Ingredients Needed

1 Medium pot 2 Frying pans 3 Stovetop Burners

1 Strainer 1 Knife 1 Cutting board

1 Small pork roast

3 Slices American cheese

1 ½ Cups frozen grilled Mediterranean vegetable mix

½ Cup red wine

¼ Cup grated parmesan cheese

2 Tablespoons butter

1 Tablespoon olive oil

1 Tablespoon sesame oil

1 Tablespoon dried tarragon flakes

1 Teaspoon each of 3 different types of baby cheese

½ Cup milk

2 Teaspoons white pepper

1 Tablespoon dried parsley flakes

1 Teaspoon minced garlic paste

1 Teaspoon minced ginger paste

1 Teaspoon almond slivers

1 Teaspoon powdered nutmeg

1 Teaspoon flour

A simple meal of pork sausage, white onion. minced garlic paste, minced ginger paste, dried cilantro flakes, powdered cayenne pepper, carrot, red bell pepper, mushrooms, canned diced tomatoes with sauce, brown sugar, cumin, black olive slices, olive oil, whole wheat dinner rolls, bow-tie egg-pasta, parmesan cheese, and fresh basil sprigs.

Equipment and All Ingredients Needed

1 Medium pot 2 Frying pans 3 Stovetop Burners
1 Strainer 1 Can Opener 1 Knife 1 Cutting board

4 Medium spicy pork sausages

1 Large Red bell pepper

1 Can diced tomatoes with liquid

1 Small can mushroom slices

½ Medium white onion

½ Large carrot

10 Pitted black olives

2 Tablespoons olive oil

2 Tablespoons minced garlic paste

1 Tablespoon dried cilantro flakes

1 Teaspoon powdered cumin

1 Teaspoon minced ginger paste

A tasty meal that can be cooked in minutes, Veggie & Pork Stir-Fry:

Simply chop 1/2 carrot, 4 medium spicy pork sausages, 1/4 white onion, and 1 medium red bell pepper; saute in sesame oil adding frozen string beans, white pepper, minced garlic paste, minced ginger paste, soy sauce, and cracked black sesame seeds; and serve on a bed of reheated leftover rice.

With the weather on the chilly side, hubby thought he’d use a little chilli pepper sauce to warm us up, Papa’s Iceberg-Pepper Pork:

For the dish, hubby used pork, iceberg lettuce, homegrown bell peppers, oyster sauce, toubyanjan sauce, minced garlic paste, white onion, and zasai; placed the mixture on a bed of rice and topped with cracked black sesame seeds.

‘Tis the season for leftovers. This is an idea hubby came up with for extra New Year’s goodies, Papa’s New-Year-Platter Skillet Paella:

The meal was quite simple, hubby lightly browned uncooked rice in butter; and added saffron, chicken broth, julienned homegrown bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, and various remains from the New Year Platter. It was surpisingly tasty, but I think I would have crumbled the meatballs though.

For some this is a very busy time of year, this is a quick and simple 10 step holiday meal anyone can put together in a matter of minutes, Holiday Ham Dinner:

1) Simply rinse and scrub new potatoes, place in the microwave in a covered container for 7 – 8 minutes.
2) Meanwhile, rinse and chop brocolli flowerettes, sprinkle with Italian herb seasoning, and place in another microwaveable covered container.
3) Open can of mushroom gravy and place in a third microwavable container.
4) Slice and begin sautéing ham steaks in frying pan on medium low.
5) Once potatoes are tender to a fork pierce, place in a frying pan and brown in olive oil on medium heat.
6) Place brocolli in microwave for approximately 4 minutes.
7) Open and plate olives and cranberry sauce. (If you didn’t have time to chill ahead of time, just place in freezer at the same time you begin preparing the meal.)
8) Remove broccoli and place gravy in microwave for approximately 2 minutes.
9) Plate brocolli, potatoes, and ham steak.
10) Drizzle gravy over ham steak and serve meal with remaining gravy, olives, and cranberry sauce on the side.
