More on Update…

As you can tell, there’s been several changes made along with this new WordPress 2.2.2 upgrade. The theme has been changed and the pages have been placed in categories. But all the information is still pretty much under the same classifications…i.e. foodie sites and window shopping. There may still be a few kinks to work out within the next few days, but most of this update will be as it is now. Thank you for your patience and please feel free to contact me if you have any problems or questions…. 😀

I recently upgraded to the new WordPress 2.2.2 and there are a few differences that need to be worked out, such as pages (which were placed in the Odds & Ends category). Thank you for your patience while these kinks are being adjusted…

Here’s another simple and tasty home BBQ meal idea, Grilled Asparagus Dinner:

This grill-top meal consisted of chicken marinated in olive oil, minced ginger paste, and garam marsala; spicy pork sausage-on-a-stick with a whole grain mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic paste, and creamy wasabi sauce; asparagus marinated in sesame oil and dill weed; and tortilla wraps filled with almond cheese.

Here’s a tasty dish by hubby that has some surprising ingredients, Papa’s GyuTan-Pasta Dinner:

Papa's GyuTan-Pasta Dinner

This meal consisted of thinly-sliced gyutan (beef tongue) sautéed in olive oil; combined with minced garlic, sake, white pepper, karashina (mustard greens), and chicken bouillon granules on a bed of spaghetti; sprinkled with grated parmesan cheese; and a side-salad of iceberg lettuce with quartered cherry tomatoes drizzled with a creamy cheese dressing.

Here’s another summertime meal idea that’s both simple and spicy, Foil-Wrapped BBQ-Wraps Dinner:

Equipment and All Ingredients Needed

Aluminum foil 1 Knife 1 Cutting board
4 Zip-style baggies 1 Paper towel 1 Small container with lid

250 Grams pork

15 Medium frozen shrimp (without shells)

6 Six-inch flour tortillas

2 Medium slices white onion

1 Fresh corn-on–the-cob

1 Iceberg lettuce leaf

1 Cup julienned bell peppers

2 Tablespoons ketchup

2 Tablespoons sesame oil

2 Tablespoons olive oil

1 Tablespoon lemon juice

1 Tablespoon dried rosemary

1 Teaspoon dried oregano flakes

1 Teaspoon white pepper

1 Teaspoon creamy wasabi

1 Teaspoon minced ginger paste

1 Teaspoon minced garlic paste

¼ Teaspoon soy sauce

¼ Teaspoon toubanjyan paste

1/8 Teaspoon dried red chili pepper flakes
